A 4-day hackathon for high school students at Clear Lake, CA where you build your own aquatic devices or vehicles
(there will be water sports like waterskiing and tubing)
16 Weeks To Design A Robot From Scratch
Participants will have 16 weeks to CAD and code their own subemersible device, vehicle, or robot using either a SeaPerch ROV Kit or a $200 grant.
They will then attend the event and receive their robot kit or items within their Bill Of Materials depending on what option they chose.
Stipend Information
If you complete your model and live more than 1500mi/2400km away, you will recieve a stipend to take a flight to California for the event. The stipend is $400 for US Domestic flights and $1000 for International travellers.
